Summary of Conditions of Hire

Driver's License

All drivers must be at least 21 years old. A current acceptable overseas, New Zealand or International license is required from all intending drivers.

Rental Payment

Payment is to be made at commencement of hire by either cash, traveller's cheques or credit card. Booking confirmation requires a deposit or credit card details. No charge is made until the coach is collected. A cancellation fee may apply.

Tax

Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in all daily hire prices.

Insurance

Standard Insurance Excess: all vehicles $2500.00 inclusive of GST in the event of an accident.
Additional Insurance (CDR): can be purchased at $20.00 per day and will lower the standard insurance excess down to $1000.00 inc of GST in the event of an accident.
Windscreen Excess: $337.50 on all vehicles, repairable chips $55.00.

Bond

A bond is required for all hires. You are required to sign a separate security bond in the form of a credit card imprint. This bond is held and is not banked.

One Way Hires

Minimum hire between Auckland and Wellington is 14 days.
Minimum hire between Auckland and Christchurch is 20 days.
Repositioning from Wellington is charged at NZ$260.00
Repositioning from Christchurch is charged at NZ$360.00
These charges are in addition to normal hire charges.

Child and Baby Seats

Please order at time of reservation stating age of child so correct size may be booked. We cannot guarantee the availability at all times of these seats.

Off Road Driving

Off road driving is not permitted and if occurs may see the loss of bond.
